As we know all babies are different with feeding habits varying enormously. We developed the waterproof cover for a customer who found it difficult to stop fluids seeping through to the pillow. Her daughter suffered from infantile reflux so consequently there was more than just a small amounts of positing, with her daughter literally projectile vomiting regularly during and after feeds!
The inconvenience of having to continually wash the whole pillow was difficult and time consuming therefore a waterproof cover was a good option. Obviously any waterproof cover needs to be comfortable and in no way detract from the pillow function, therefore utilising the same soft PU fabric that we use for nursing pillows supplied to the NHS was not a problem. This gives protection without unnecessary noise unsettling your baby when contact is applied.
The soft PU waterproof pillow protector with sealed seams, fits snugly around the pillow. A simple hand wipe, wash and dry with warm soapy water using a suitable cleaning agent is all that's required to keep your pillow fresh and dry.
